Membership
The Society's membership year runs from 1 March to the end of February. As a member you will receive the Society's quarterly journal Hertfordshire People in Summer, Autumn, Winter & Spring editions. Those joining during the current membership year will receive back copies of the journal for the current membership year. If the printed journal is out of stock, a substitute will be provided.

The subscription rate is based on the manner in which the Society's journal is delivered. Back copies of the journal together with electronic exchange journals from other societies are also available to members through the members area of this website.
Due to costs we are only able to receive subscriptions paid in British pounds. Please click on the relevant tile below depending on whether you want an electronic or paper copy of the journal to join or renew your membership securely.

Journal Delivery
The digital journal in PDF format delivered by email is cheaper for you and for us and there is no postal delay. Requesting a digital journal allows us to keep costs down as the costs of printing and international postage continue to rise.
Options for paying annual subscriptions
Please note that the Society now pays significant bank charges on all cheques and we therefore urge you to make digital payments or renewals securely through this website wherever possible. The online facility captures all the details required for new members and allows you to change details when renewing.
Renewals by post using cheques should be made on the form in the Winter journal, in person at a Society meeting, or you can download the form here.
